The project includes construction of a new multi-storey car park providing a total of 850 spaces and a street-level carpark providing 300 spaces.
The Westconnex project has been delivered, meaning commuters can bypass traffic lights and spend less time on the road. The M8 tunnels opened in 2023 and connect our community to Sydney Airport. On average it takes commuters approximately ’20mins’ to travel from Concord to the airport.
A new PET-CT scanner service has been opened at the Concord Cancer Centre at Concord Hospital. The purpose-built PET-CT suite is located in the new Rusty Priest Building and means local residents can access these important services close to home.

The Sydney Metro West project is a new fast underground metro line which will link Parramatta to the Sydney CBD. Stations are currently being built at North Strathfield, Burwood North (Concord), and Five Dock in our community.
This will be a turn up and go service, with a train every 4 minutes in the peak. It will take approximately 10 minutes to travel from Five Dock to the CBD.
Sydney Metro West’s targeted opening is 2032.
I am joining the community to fight hard to deliver an upgrade to Concord High School. Funding for planning has been committed for the upgrade to deliver new classrooms and modern learning facilities.
A Refurbished Parish Hall at St Patrick’s Mortlake has now opened thanks to a $50,000 NSW Government Community Building Partnership Grant.
The $8.7 million investment in the McIlwaine Park Foreshore Upgrade has been delivered in partnership between the NSW Government and the City of Canada Bay Council.
Construction is underway on the $4.7 million upgrade of Charles Heath Reserve in Five Dock, funded in partnership betweenthe NSW Government and the City of Canada Bay Council.
Work is progressing on a new playground at Brett Park in Drummoyne. The upgraded playground will include an adventure play area, accessible equipment, and sensory play incorporating water activities and a sand pit. The project is scheduled to open around April-May 2024 and is delivered in partnership between the NSW Government and the City of Canada Bay Council.
